I think this is one of my best swords. I really enjoyed making this one. The kashira (pommel) is constructed of carbon fiber and brass. It was sort of a puzzle to figure out but totally worth it.

I made the menuki out of 1/4” brass pin stock which I fashioned to look like small tanto blades.
